Bench Soldering Furnace No. 101 Johnson Gas

A powerful, efficient and economical bench furnace made for heating soldering coppers up to 12 lbs. per pair, heat-treating, tempering, annealing or case-hardening any carbon steel tools or small metal parts such as dies, taps, reamers, chisels, gears, etc. No blower is needed, which eliminates use of a muffle. Equipped with shut-off valve and pilot light. Firebox forms a rest and protects points of coppers. Johnson patented, curved shaped hood forces return blast over parts being treated. A baffle plate, which partly closes front of furnace, is furnished. Hood and bottom lined with heavy refractory. Unit size 14"L x 7-3/8"H. Firebox 3-3/4" x 4-1/2" x 5-1/2". Firebox opening 4-1/2" x 2-3/4". Gas connect pipe size 3/8". Burners 2. Gas consumed 26,000 BTU per hour per burner. 486134
