METALWORKING BENCH Any metalworking classroom will easily take on more wear and tear than a home shop, so it’s always a good idea to purchase the most durable tools. A metalwork bench is designed to be sturdy, strong, and stable for heavy duty applications. It will have a much higher load resistance, making it ideal for welding, grinding, and light castings. Integrated vises and clamps make it easy to hold metalwork parts while in the middle of a project.

METALWORKING TOOLS When it comes to outfitting your metalworking shop, having a variety of tools will give students a well-rounded experience so they’re fully prepared for whatever life brings them. Choose from basic metalworking tools such as calipers and dividers, to metalworking hand tools such as tweezers, tinner snips, and aviation snips. When students are ready to try advanced tools for metalworking, look for gauges, rivet setters, rivets, back-up washers, and riveters. You’ll also need to look for an anvil tool, steel stamp sets, punch and die sets, notchers, brass stencils, and measurement tools.
